Dionne P. Hayes
Dionne Hayes is an Associate with Blackwell Burke P.A. practicing in the areas of toxic tort litigation, food safety, commercial litigation, products liability defense, and intellectual property. Ms. Hayes has represented corporations in state and federal courts around the country. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hayes served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael J. Davis of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Ms. Hayes graduated from the University of Manitoba in Canada with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. She received her law degree at Hamline University School of Law where she was on the Dean's List, the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team, and was the recipient of the Michael J. Davis scholarship for academic excellence and community service. Ms. Hayes served as President of the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers (MABL) and as a board member for the Center for Communication and Development.
She is admitted to the Minnesota State Bar, the U.S. District Court of Minnesota and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Hayes was named a 2006, 2008, and 2009 "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics, a recognition based on attorney polling across Minnesota, and a 2006 "Up & Coming Attorney" by Minnesota Lawyer.
