BACKGROUND
 

Karen Bohaty joined Blackwell Burke P.A. in 2006.   She has practiced primarily in the areas of products liability and mass tort, almost exclusively on behalf of corporate clients involved in nationwide litigation involving asbestos, silica, latex, and medical devices.   She

has been a member of a team who acted as national coordinating counsel for a Fortune 500 company, working closely not only with the client’s Office of General Counsel but with many people throughout the company.  She has also acted as local counsel, working closely

with national counsel teams, playing an active role in the litigation.  In addition, she has had substantial experience in the creation of

and management of large document repositories and systems in complex cases with multiple plaintiffs and defendants.  Ms. Bohaty is admitted to practice in Minnesota in state and federal court.
